What is Ag Day?

 

It's a day to recognize and celebrate the abundance provided by agriculture. Every year, producers, agriculture associates, corporations, universities, government agencies and countless others across America join together to recognize the contributions of agriculture.

 

When is Ag Day in 2021?

 

Ag Day is on March 23, 2021.

 

What is Ag Day All About?

 

Ag Day is about recognizing and celebrating the contribution of agriculture in our everyday lives. The National AG Day program encourages every American to:

• Understand how food and fiber products are produced
• Value the essential role of agriculture maintaining a strong economy
• Appreciate the role agriculture plays in providing safe, abundant, and affordable products

PigCHAMP Office Closed April 2

The PigCHAMP office will be closed Friday, April 2, 2021 in observance of Good Friday. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, April 5, 2021.

Celebrating Women in Ag

Not only do we get to celebrate National Ag Day in March, but here in Iowa we also get to celebrate Women in Agriculture on March 26^th. Of course, we are so thankful to celebrate the work of women throughout the Ag Industry every day of the year.
