A new year brings fresh opportunities for improvement and benchmark insights. Below are highlights from the 3rd Quarter benchmarking report comparing Q2 to Q3 of 2025, and year-over-year changes from 2024 to 2025.

2nd to 3rd Quarter Comparison

  • ⬆ Repeat Rate increased from 5.88 to 7.13
  • ⬇ Farrowing Rate decreased from 84.36 to 83.13
  • ⬇ P/S/Y decreased from 29.07 to 28.47
  • ⬇ Death Rate decreased from 13.93 to 13.11

2024 to 2025 3rd Quarter Comparison

  • ⬇ Farrowing Rate decreased from 84.47 to 83.13
  • ⬆ Pre-weaning Mortality increased from 13.68 to 15.41
  • ⬇ P/S/Y decreased from 29.38 to 28.47
  • ⬆ Death Rate increased from 12.43 to 13.11
  • ⬇ Cull Rate decreased from 45.17 to 41.27

PigCHAMP Benchmark – Year-End Data Submission

  • Deadline: January 31
  • Data Required: All information entered through December 31

How Do I Send in My Benchmark Data?

PigCHAMP Files Needed:*.bak file created using the Backup and Restore Utility

Steps:

  1. Perform a backup in PigCHAMP using the Backup and Restore Utility.
  2. Email your backup file to benchmarking@pigchamp.com by January 31.

For Online Customers: No action is needed! Your data is automatically included in benchmarking.

PigCHAMP Mobile App

The PigCHAMP Mobile app allows for real-time reproductive data input through any mobile device, while providing basic reporting functionality and validation to users to help minimize data entry errors.

PigCHAMP Online or Client Hosted Application users can access their farm data on a phone or tablet via a strong internet connection or through the intermittent mode, allowing the use of the app in areas with limited internet capabilities and stores data on the device until internet is restored.
