With a new year comes new goals! Did you know that PigCHAMP allows you to define production targets you want for your operation and evaluate your progress towards those goals?

PigCHAMP gives you the flexibility to set specific targets and configuration settings for each farm site within your business. Under Farms > Targets and Other Settings, users can define parameters related to both reproductive and grow‑finish performance.

While targets are preset based on industry standards, we encourage you to review and adjust them to reflect the unique goals of your operation. It’s also a good practice to periodically reevaluate these targets and update them as your farm’s performance evolves.

Once your targets are in place, you’ll find several PigCHAMP reports that help you measure performance against those goals. For reproduction, the Performance Trend Analysis report highlights whether your farm is on or off target. For grow‑finish herds, the Closeout Analysis (By Period) report provides similar insights.
