PigCHAMP DOS 4.XX

Sending the data by hard copy:

Backup the farm data files on Floppy disks:

  1. In PigCHAMP, go to File Management|Backup Farm
  2. Place a floppy disk in the A: or B: drive or your computer.

If sending data this way, please make sure that diskettes are protected. The majority of diskettes I receive by mail are damaged and I am unable to restore and will have to be thrown out of analysis.


Sending the data electronically

  1. E-mail the data files to: benchmarking@pigchamp.com
  2. Attach the files FARMNAME.dat, FARMNAME.inx, english.dd
    These files will be located in your PigCHAMP directory which is usually PC4 or PC410 for 4.10 and PC405 for 4.05 unless you store the data files in a subdirectory.
  3. In your e-mail, please specify the Customer Name, Customer ID, and Farm ID.
For large files, they can be compressed using a program such as WinZip, or burned to a CD and mailed.
